Multicultural Banking Center

In early 2020, FirstBank launched its Multicultural Banking Center, focused on extending financial services to Hispanic, Asian, and Black/African American communities. The Center serves as a hub for all branch locations and joins the bank's growing list of Asian and Spanish Banking Centers, where customers can receive banking services in their preferred language and an understanding of their culture. The Center also creates opportunities for various businesses, nonprofits, and community members to attend networking events, financial literacy classes, collaborate on community projects, and more.

Providing Access To Homeownership (PATH) Grant Program

FirstBank has continued its partnership with the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) to supply PATH (Providing Access to Homeownership) grants for down payment and closing cost assistance throughout Colorado. PATH offers first-time homebuyers who identify as Black or African American and meet certain income requirements the resources needed to obtain a home. As a result, FirstBank and CHFA have provided over $2.6 million in grants and helped over 160 Black/African American families become homeowners. In 2023, FirstBank was awarded a $1 million grant from Colorado Health Foundation to continue to fund the program through 2023 and help an additional 100 families realize the dream of homeownership. Additionally in 2023, FirstBank committed an additional $250,000 in funds to launch the PATH Arizona Grant program to expand opportunities for homeownership in Arizona.
